Upon graduation, Charlie enlisted in the Air Force during WWII and worked in the 40th photo reconnaissance intelligence squadron in the China, Burma, and India region. He worked on many Chevrolet products, including the Corvette with Zora Duntov and John DeLorean. Charlie was very active in the Armenian community.
