Obituary for Patricia Carol Muskat

Patty was born and raised in Detroit by Byron and Virginia Melkonian. She was the third of four children and remained close with her siblings and extended family throughout her life, although she lost her two brothers at young ages.

Patricia took pride in her long and successful career at Stone Soap Company, Inc. as the Sales Manager. She had many lifelong and new friends that she maintained close relationships with throughout the years. Patty was the most loving, fun, and energetic mother and grandmother.

Despite her terminal health problems, she was involved every step of the way in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She loved vacationing, exploring the world and new experiences. She treasured time spent with her family and always looked forward to holidays together.

In her later years, she especially enjoyed hosting Christmas celebrations at her and Tim’s home for their large blended family. She loved to cook, eat, and feed people—especially traditional Armenian cuisine. She had a vivacious personality, always made people around her laugh, and always spoke her mind.

There will never be another Patty and although we have memories, her loss leaves a void that cannot be replaced. We love her more than words can describe and will miss her for the rest of our days.
