A. George Basmadjian, beloved husband of Carole (Mihertadian) Basmadjian, passed away peacefully at his home on May 18, 2015. Loving father of Kevin (Emily) Basmadjian, Kenneth Basmadjian, Chris (Shannon) Basmadjian and Jennifer (David) Findling. Cherished grandfather of Natta, Areena, Jake, Noah, Christian, Alexander, Kylie, Benjamin, Carly and Levi. Dear brother of Dorothy (the late Luther) Davis and the late Allen (Irene) Basmadjian, and dear brother-in-law of Arlene (the late Armen) Aramian and George (Gloria) Mihertadian. George will also be missed by his nieces and nephews and many other family and friends. Visitation Thursday, May 21 from 4pm-8pm with a 7pm Prayer Service at the Edward Korkoian Funeral Home Spiller-Spitler Chapel 836 N. Main Street, Royal Oak (248) 541-8325. In state Friday, May 22 at 10am until 11am Funeral Service at Armenian Congregational Church 26210 W. 12 Mile Rd., Southfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in George's memory may be made to the Armenian Congregational Church.
