Alex Zadik Karabajakian Obituary

Loving husband and father, Alex Zadik Karabajakian, 90, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, surrounded by the beautiful mountains, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born in Kirikhan, Turkey in 1934 to Zadik and Veronica Karabajakian. Alex enjoyed sports and Hollywood Cinema Movies as a youngster and teenager, and continued that passion throughout his life. He attended Aleppo College before studying Chemistry at the American University of Beirut, and then moved to the U.S. in 1955. Alex continued his education at Worcester State University in Massachusetts, MI State University, and Eastern MI University, earning a Master's Degree in Chemistry, as well as a Secondary Teaching Degree.. He taught High School Chemistry for 17 years, while concurrently opening and running his Clinical Laboratory. Throughout his life, Alex had a passion for business and was successful in all he pursued. Alex was preceded in death by his wife (the late) Raylene Karabajakian, and is survived by his four children Dr. Mark (Sharon) Karabajakian, Vahan (Marylisa) Karian, Lori Karabajakian, Nicole (Bernard) Winkler, his nine grandchildren Mark, Nicholas, Jack, Eric (Kaitlyn), Alex (Tia), Anna, Megan, Ani, Franziska, and his sister Mrs. Maro Kevonian. Alex will be greatly missed by his nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
