Ara Edward Basherian
Obituary
Ara Basherian died suddenly at home on Monday, May 15, 2023 with wife Roslyn by his side. Born in Detroit, Michigan on March 18, 1935, he was the son of Paul and Aghanvie Basherian, genocide survivors. Predeceased by his parents, brother Alex and sister Yeran, he is survived by brother Paul (Jill) Basherian, sister-in-law Yeretzgin Aurora Jebejian (the late Rev. Fr. Nersess Jebejian), brother-in-law Gary (Deborah) Melikian, nephew Very Rev. Fr. Aren Jebejian, and niece Rena (Stephen) Megrdichian as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A private funeral was conducted on Friday, May 19 at St. John Armenian Church.
