Berj Paul Kurkechian Age 83. Berj passed away on March 1, 2015. Dearest husband of Mary (nee Elian). Loving father of Paul (Linda), Robert (Isabel), Craig (Arsho) and Linda. Proud grandpa of John, George, Mia, Christopher, Alex, Sara and Michael. Younger brother of Edward (Evelyn). Father in law of Anne. Berj will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, Khenames, cousins and friends. Berj was a designer at Ford Motor Company for 38 years and enjoyed 20 years of retirement with his family on Grand Lake in Northern Michigan. Visitation Thursday 4pm-8pm with a 7pm Prayer Service at St. Johns Armenian Church 22001 Northwestern Highway, Southfield 48075. In state Friday 10am until 11am Funeral Service. Knights of Vartan Service Friday at 12pm in the St. Johns Armenian Church Cultural Hall. In lieu of flowers donations in Berj's memory are to St. Johns Armenian Church or American Diabetes Association.
