Catherine Chavdarian Boucher, 65, died April 11, 2019 after 16 years of coping courageously with breast cancer. Catherine retired as an educator from the Dearborn Schools where she taught inspirational life lessons to her French and English students. Following a chance meeting at Michigan State University, Michael and Catherine were married at St. John Armenian Church in 1975.
She was a devoted mother to her two daughters Juliette and Faith and an Olympic-level grandmother to her cherished grandchildren: Michael, Logan and Charlotte.
Undaunted by her treatments, Catherine pursued travel to the Caribbean, Costa Rica, France and time spent at her sunny Sarasota condo. In 2010, Catherine was thrilled to be able to visit Holy Etchmiadzin in Armenia and Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine in France. Catherine cherished her time with family and supporting the many activities of her grandchildren.
