David Posigian

Our father, Dave Posigian, born May 8, 1945, passed away on April 20, 2026.  He was proceeded in death by his father, Walter Posigian, mother Isabel Posigian, brother Paul Posigian, sister Carol Goshgarian and sister Vicky Davis.

He is survived by his three children Jon Posigian, Julie Smith (Barry), Jodie Smith (Mike), 5 grandchildren, Joel Posigian (Nahari), Carolynn Smith, Joseph Posigian (Heather), David Coronado (Jasmin), and Jasmine Posigian, and ten great grand children, Isabella, Konner, Zane, Marley, Naomi, Ashton, Chandler, Gabriel, Zander, and Austin.  And we cannot forget his beloved dog, Chloe, who supersedes all of the above and provided him with unconditional love and companionship.  

Our father was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran.  He was strong, quiet and never one for excuses, he spent his life working hard-from tool and die to many miles over the road as a truck driver.  He was always willing to help anyone, and he carried a quick, sharp sense of humor.  On the day he passed, he sent a text to his family saying, "I think they have microphones in here and they are listening."  A line that brought a smile in a much needed time.   He will be great missed by so many family and friends.

Memorial dinner, this Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Antonio's Ristorante 31735 Plymouth Rd., Livonia.
