Dillard Sizemore, 82, of Pineville, KY Bell County, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on February 8, 2024, in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was a loving husband, father, papa, and brother.
Dillard is survived by his loving wife of over 63 years, Barbara, and their children: Debora (Donnie) Hamill, Cheryl (Chuck) McDaniel, and Brian Sizemore. He will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Amber Guilmette, Autumn (Rick) Brandon, Brandon (Katelyn) Sizemore, Kayla Sizemore, Chase McDaniel, and Collin McDaniel, as well as his 11 great-grandchildren. Dillard is also survived by his brothers, Walt (Amy) Rowsey and Chuck (Sheila) Rowsey, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Sizemore, and mother, Clara Jackson Rowsey.
Dillard dedicated 30 years of his life to Ford Motor Company before retiring in 1993. He was a hardworking and dedicated employee who left a lasting impact on his colleagues.
In his free time, Dillard enjoyed pursuing his hobbies. He loved fishing, golfing, solving crossword puzzles, and watching Wheel of Fortune. These activities brought him joy and relaxation throughout his life.
A celebration of Dillard's life will be determined and held in the summer of 2024. Details regarding the services will be announced at a later date.
Dillard Sizemore will be remembered as a loving family man, a dedicated employee, and someone who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
