Dr. Kems passed away peacefully on May 20, 2021 at the age of 99 with his wife Mary by his side.

Beloved husband of Mary.

Loving father of Patricia Ruelle, Judith Cunningham, Beverly (Ronald) Zeeman and Craig Kems.

Cherished grandfather of Jayson, Mandy, Meredith (Kevin), Blake (Sol), Justin, Jake (Mark) and Nick (Cari) and great-grandfather of 9.

Dear brother of the late John O. (the late Mary Anne) Kems.

He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, neighbors & friends from Elizabeth Lake.

After serving as a dentist in the Navy during WWII, Dr. Kems practiced dentistry for more than 40 years.

Visitation Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until his 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at St. John Armenian Church 22001 Northwestern Highway, Southfield.

Burial Service to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to St. John Armenian Church or Mendelson Assisted Living 2450 Watkins Lake Road, Waterford, MI 48328.
