Edward Michael Apligian Obituary

An accomplished stock market investor and retired Chrysler employee of over 40 years.


Eddie was an exceptional linebacker for Coach George B Lewis at Dearborn Fordson High School in 1964. He was also a true fishing and boating enthusiast and served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam conflict.


Beloved Son of the late Charles and Rose, and the dear older brother of Thomas (deceased), Janice Hedke, and Charles (Deborah) Apligian. Loving uncle to eleven nieces and nephews and eighteen great nieces and nephews.


Eddie was a modest and kindhearted man who generously cared for people and animals. He will be greatly missed by his friends and all extended members of the Apligian and Ingesoulian families.


Visitation Wednesday, August 21st, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service at St. John's Armenian Church 22001 Northwestern Highway, Southfield.


In state Thursday 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at church.  United States Naval Military Honors to follow.  


Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward’s memory can be made to Children of Armenia Fund (COAF), St. John's Armenian Church, or The Michigan Humane Society.
