Age 97. Edward passed away peacefully on May 15, 2014 with his family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Lucille H. Loving father of the late Edwina Papelian (late Dennis) Michalski, Joe (Linda) Papelian and Renee Papelian. Dear grandfather of Lisa Michalski (Steven Simpson) and Matthew (Silvina) Michalski. Dear great-grandfather of Dennis James Simpson, Christopher Simpson, Nicolas Michalski and Matias Michalski. Dear brother of the late Hermine (late Haig) Kazazian and the late Vahe (late Anoush) Papelian. Edward will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Edward was a World War II pilot and retired from the Air Force Reserves as a Lt. Colonel. He was also a proud member of St. Johns Armenian Church Komitas Choir for over 70 years. A Celebration of the life of Edward S. Papelian will be held on Saturday June 7 at 10:00 AM in the Belmont Clubhouse at Fox Run located at 41120 Fox Run Road in Novi, Michigan. A lunch will follow the service. We invite everyone who would like to honor Edward Papelian to join us in this time of tribute to a truly amazing man.
