Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, May 21, 1931 and peacefully passed away at home with family in Odessa, Florida on May 16, 2020.


Member of the US Marine Corp. 1951-53, Masonic Lodge Brother since 1959, Retired Ford Motor Co. Electrician 1950-80.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rose Asadoorian; Sister Pearl (John) Sarkissian. Dearest children; Johnny (late Debbie) Asadoorian, Frankie (Christine) Asadoorian and Deborah Asadoorian. Proud Grandfather of Alicia (Mike) Thompson, Jason (Bianca) Asadoorian and Tamera (Jeremy) Luellen. Great-Grandfather of Mason Asadoorian, Olivia Thompson, Cooper Thompson, and Connor Thompson.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents, Abraham and Zarouhie Asadoorian; sister, Mary (late Harry) Dardarian; his brother, Harry Asadoorian; his brother, George (late Roxie) Asadoorian; his brother, Aram (late Sue) Asadoorian; his brother, David (surviving wife, Lorraine)
Asadoorian; his brother, Frank (surviving wife, Martha) Asadoorian;.

Visitation will take place Edward Korkoian Funeral Home, 836 N. Main St., Royal Oak, MI 48067, Monday, May 25 3:00-7:00pm.

Per Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer's executive order, only 10 people at a time can be present in the funeral home. Visitors will have to wait for entry into the funeral home if it is at the limit.

A private, immediate family only funeral will be held at St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church, Tuesday, May 26.

Interment will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.

Ernest's family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory be made to St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church.
