Eva Malkasian Obituary
Age 83. Eva passed away peacefully on August 4, 2015 with her family by her side. She has now entered her eternal rest with her beloved husband John. Eva was a dedicated Elementary School teacher in Livonia for 45 years , with many of those years in special education. For years, she tutored students in her home, sometimes as many as 20 students at a time. Eva and John enjoyed a wonderful life together. John was the love of her life. Eva was a very giving person, thinking of others, before herself. She enjoyed going to California to visit with family and friends. Eva was the sister of the late Jack (the late Bea) Kizirian, the late Lorraine (the late Vahan) Serimian, the late Ann (the late Dick) Marashlian. Dear sister-in-law of Anne (Nick) Derderian and the late Clara (the late Jerry) Messelian. Eva was also loved by 16 nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and nephews, 10 great-great nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Visitation Monday 10:00 a.m. at St. Johns Armenian Church 22001 Northwestern Highway, Southfield (248) 569-3405. Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flower donations in Eva's memory are to St. Johns Armenian Church.
