Age 90. Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 26, 2014. Beloved husband of Roxanne Keurajian. Loving father of Carol A. (Dr. John) Garry, Diane L. Keurajian and the late Gary Keurajian (2014). Cherished grandfather of Lauren, Jessica and John Paul Keurajian Garry. Dear brother of Virginia (late Harant) Avakian and the late Arthur (Lucy) Keurajian. Dear brother in law of Kora (late Edward) Jamian and the late Nora (late Fred) Demirjian. George will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. George P. Keurajian, the son of Cross and Mary Keurajian. He was born in Detroit and lived in Beverly Hills, MI for over 50 years. A World War II navy survivor of the U.S.S Bunker Hill air craft carrier. The Bunker Hill was hit by three kamikazes in 1943. George saved many lives that day and received a medal for his valiant effort in helping his naval crew to safety. George was the founder and President of Bunker Hill Litho Plate Co for over 50 years in Detroit, Mi. His success in business can be directly attributed to his work ethic, innate talent and attention to detail. A devote christian, husband, family man and community leader who was always there for his family and friends. Visitation Friday 10am at St Johns Armenian Church 22001 Northwestern Highway, Southfield (248) 569-3405. The funeral will be at 11am at the church. US Military honors service to be performed at church following the Funeral Service. Knights of Vartan Service to follow the Military Honors Service. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Family requests donations in George's memory to St. Johns Armenian Church or Disabled American Veterans.
