Age 92. With great sadness and thanksgiving for his life and love, we announce the end of his journey on earth. Passed away peacefully on January 9, 2014. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Dorothy. Loving father of Thomas W. (Joan) Saferian, Janet L. Bushaw and George A. Saferian. Also loved by five grandchildren, Victoria A. Saferian, Joseph Y. Saferian, Allison I. Bushaw, Steven R. Saferian and Julia G. Saferian and great grandfather of Sylvanas. Dear son of the late George (late Lucy) Saferian. Cherished brother of the late Gladys (late Kurt) Hess, late Ruben (late Gertrude) Saferian, late Thomas Saferian, late John Saferian, late Lucille (late Albert) Fontana, late Elizabeth Rix, late Richard (late Rose) Saferian, late David Saferian and the late Mary (late Frank) Ochab. Dear brother in law of Margaret Saferian and the late Tom (late Bizar) Hanesian. George will also be missed by his dear friend Tom Bushaw and his many nieces and nephews.
