Isabelle “Izzy” Vahratian

May 31, 1936 - November 6, 2024 (age 88)

Isabelle passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on November 6, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Richard Vahratian.

Loving mother of Dr. Anjel Vahratian (Michael Vlaikov).

Dear sister of Charlotte Boshnakian.

Sister in law of the late Rose (late David) Hazergian, late Ann (late George) Jevarjian, late Dottie (late Richard) Demirjian, late Adam (Louise) Vahratian.

She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday November 14, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a 7:30 pm prayer service at St. John Armenian Church (22001 Northwestern Highway in Southfield).

An additional visitation will be held on Friday November 15, 2024 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service.

The burial service will be held immediately following the funeral service at Woodlawn Cemetery (19975 Woodward Avenue in Detroit).

The memorial meal will be held immediately following the burial service in the St. Vartan Room at St. John Armenian Church.
