JoAnn A. Voletti

Heaven gained an angel on September 12, 2020 when JoAnn Voletti passed away at 73 years old. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter.

Upon her arrival in heaven she was reunited with her late husband Lawrence and parents Sooren and Lola Torossian.

She is survived by her loving sons Anthony Voletti and Delano (Tracie) Voletti.

Cherished Yia Yia of Lorenzo, Lianna, Olivia, Sophia, Luca, and Stella.

JoAnn will also be missed by her sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews and the people who knew and loved her.

JoAnn had a special gift of turning a perfect stranger into a friend with a brief conversation. She was engaging and had a unique way of relating to all types of people. She had a tremendous love of all animals, and a passion for NASCAR and "the thrill of the race". There was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with the family and people she loved.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Edward Korkoian Funeral Home Spiller-Spitler Chapel 836 N. Main Street, Royal Oak.

In state Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m Funeral at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 760 W. Wattles Road, Troy (248) 362-9575.

Burial service to follow at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia

Because of JoAnn's deep love of animals, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in her memory to the non-profit, Back Door Friends Animal Rescue. Please note Chase Elliot in the memo, the name of the sweet cat she rescued.

Only 10 people at a time will be allowed in the funeral home. A mask is to be worn and a minimal of 6 feet social distancing is to take place.
