John V. Kalajian passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on April 23, 2022 at the age of 89.
Devoted husband of almost 66 years to Doris (nee Gopigian).
Beloved father of Kim (Tony) Daguanno, Julie Kalajian and Jeff (Karen) Kalajian.
Cherished grandpa of Kristen (Justin) Waterstrat, John (Ashley) Daguanno and Kyle Kalajian.
Also a loving Baboo to his six great-grandchildren: Avery, Emma, Madelyn, Parker, Sophia and Reese.
Dear brother of the late Charles (Nora) Kalajian and the late Virginia (Mike) Norsesian. Brother-in-law of the late Garabed (Flo) Gopigian.
He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 11am until the 12pm funeral at St. John Armenian Church 22001 Northwestern Highway, Southfield 48075. Luncheon to immediately follow the service. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. John Armenian Church or Friends of Holy Etchmiadzin.
