Katherine "Kathy" Mekjian Obituary

Beloved daughter of the late Jack and Helen Mekjian.

Loving sister of Alice Mekjian, Johanna (Gary) Novak and John (Dr. Mary Beth Rupp) Mekjian.

Dearest niece of Rose (the late David) Ghoogasian and Arthur (Virginia) Mekjian.

Kathy will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In state Thursday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the Dan Gark (Prayer Service) at 7:00 p.m. in the Auxiliary Sanctuary of St. John's Armenian Church, located in the Veteran's Building 22001 Northwestern Hwy, Southfield, MI.

In state Friday 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service.

Daughters of Vartan Service to follow Funeral Service in the Veteran's Building.

Graveside Service to follow Daughter's of Vartan Service at Woodlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. John's Armenian Church Women's Guild or Evereg-Fenesse Educational Society.

For the health and safety of all, Kathy's family requests that attendees wear masks during the visitation and funeral, regardless of vaccination status.
