Beloved wife of the late Ludwig.


Loving mother of Raffi.


Cherished grandmother of Mario and Maxim.


Dear sister of Joseph Morian and aunt to Ani, Elizabeth and Rosemary.

Mari Muschegian was  born 03/22/1928 in Istanbul Turkey.  She was the second child of Roupen Morian and Elmas Tilbiyan a genocide survivor. She had an older sister Elizabeth and a younger brother Joseph.


Mari received her education at a French Catholic school and was fluent in French, Turkish, English and Armenian. Mari worked for a French insurance company in Istanbul for almost 20 years before she followed her brother Joseph to America in 1962. There she met her husband Ludwig and they were married and had a son Raffi.


Shortly after Raffi‘s birth, Mari enrolled in school once again to learn the new field of computers and data entry. She got a job at Hudsons/Macy’s where she worked for 27 years before retiring. After retirement she kept the active in the community by being the longtime treasurer for the Hamazkayn  Armenian Cultural Association.


In 2017, she was blessed with her first and only grandchildren at the age of 89. She spent her last years living with her family and enjoying her grandsons who brought her so much pride and joy. She passed peacefully with her family on 09/01/2022.
