Attorney, born July 25, 1958, passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on December 5, 2014. Devoted husband of Kelly Jean (Ollila), loving father of Lucas Robert (16) and Sara Kimberly (13), dearest son of Freda Chadwick. Mark was a 1976 graduate of Dearborn St. Alphonsus, a 2001 graduate of Oakland University, and received his JD from Wayne State University in 1984. Mark's passions included his family, music, reading, new technology, the Detroit Tigers and dogs, especially his Golden Retriever, Gracie. He enjoyed sharing his vast music library with family and friends. The family will greet friends on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 814 N. Campbell Road, Royal Oak, at 9 a.m. with a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan, Gilda's Club Metro Detroit, New Day Foundation For Families, or Royal Oak Animal Shelter. Mark once said his goal is to make one person laugh each day. And he did. He will be deeply missed.
