Marybeth Derderian of Redford, Michigan, July 2, 2012: age 91; born May 23,1921 in Detroit, Michigan. Dear wife of William Derderian for 65yrs. Loving mother of Ronald (Denise) Derderian, Gary (Kathy) Derderian and Lynn Derderian. Beloved sister of Jesse (Jim) McFadden, Ross Vartian and John Vartian. Cherished grandmother of Holly Derderian, Carrie (Nick) Costa, Jeff Derderian and Bryan Derderian. Devoted great grandmother of Vincent and Luca Costa. Marybeth graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in Music Education. She played the piano and viola and over the years played in several orchestras including Redford Union and Plymouth. Her love of family and friends lead her to her love of cooking, teaching ceramic classes at her home, being involved in neighborhood programs, volunteering for meals on wheels with her daughter and traveling to play music with her friends. But most of all was camping with her grandchildren. She made a difference and made the world a better place. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
