Age 72. Mitchell passed away peacefully on December 9, 2014 with his family by his side. Beloved father of Mikiel. Loving brother of Koharig Helen (the late Adam) Karibian, Kevork George (Babe Star) Darboian and Aggie Azniv(the late George B.) Thompson. Cherished uncle of Dominique (Max) Lark, Maria Karibian (Larry) Suarez and Gabrielle, Angell Karibian (Craig) Bruck and Remi, Juliette and Lucien, Adam (Kimberly) Karibian and Bianca and Adam III, Shantel Darboian, Kari Darboian-Kulhanjian and Kayla and Kristi, Lisa (Bruce) Coleman, Michael Thompson, Kristen Thompson (Michael) Rowberry and Nicole Thompson (Bob) Honaker and Terra. Mitchell will also be dearly missed by his relatives and friends. Mitchell is predeceased by his parents Nishan and Lucine (Lucy) Darboian. Visitation Thursday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. Prayer Service at St. Johns Armenian Church 22001 Northwestern Highway, Southfield (248) 569-3405. In state Friday 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service. In lieu of flower donations in Mitchell's memory are to St. Johns Armenian Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
