Mitchell passed away peacefully on May 26, 2015 with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Virginia. Loving father of Michele (Paul) Zaccagni and Michael (Erin) Merdinian. Cherished grandfather of Lauren and Logan Zaccagni and Macey, Kaitlyn and Luke Merdinian. Loving son of the late Nicholas and the late Angel Merdinian. Dear Brother in law of Louise (Adam) Vahratian and family. Visitation today 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Prayer Service at St. Johns Armenian Church 22001 Northwestern Highway, Southfield. In state Friday 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flower donations in Mitchell's memory are to St. Johns Armenian Church or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
