Family requests donations in Pamela's memory to Focus Armenia or St. John's Armenian Church. Pamela (Neffian) Dayinian was born on August 12, 1945 in Chicago, IL to Charles and Lucy Neffian. Pamela moved to Detroit in 1947. She lived in a upper flat on Stoepel Street. Pam grew up in a loving family and had many friends. She graduated from Mackenzie High School in 1963 and continued her education at Wayne State University, graduating in 1967. After her graduation, she began her career as an elementary school teacher. Pam and Jerry Dayinian met and married on May 24, 1970. God blessed them with 2 daughters and later 2 son in laws. The best gift of all, was her 5 grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Pam and Jerry loved to travel and took many trips to Europe, Hawaii, Alaska and the Caribbean. Pam's favorite vacation was Disney World. Pam's love for her Church and Women's Guild became a life long dedication. She was a Sunday School teacher for 25 years and Women's Guild Chairperson 1984, 1985 and 1994. Pam was Co-Chair of the Women's Guild Cookbook, Armenian Cuisine Preserving Our Heritage. She served on Nominating Committees, helped with the Annual Church Picnic and made Khadayif and Spinach Boregs for the Bazaar. God Bless all of Pam's good deeds and love for her Church - Amen.
