Age 81. Rosemary passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 29, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Ward E. Loving mother of Douglas Carlson and Gayle (Tim) Gifford. Cherished grandmother of Scott (Sara), Kevin (Rachel), Brian (Debb), Samantha, Michael, Rachel and Jacob and great grandmother of 10. Dear sister of Robert, Jack (Jan) and Garrison. Rosemary loved to drive and travel. For 25 years, she wintered in Arizona and spent the summers in Michigan. While living in Arizona, she was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was very involved in her church and loved to volunteer. Rosemary was independent and active. Visitation Wednesday 5pm-8pm at the Edward Korkoian Funeral Home Spiller-Spitler Chapel 836 N. Main Street, Royal Oak (248) 541-8325. In state Thursday 9:30am until 10:30am Funeral Service at First Congregational Church 1314 Northwood Blvd, Royal Oak. In lieu of flower donations in Rosemary's memory are to the Elk Country Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 434, Atlanta, MI 49709.
