Shake' Oskanian Minassian was born on January 25th, 1930 in Aleppo, Syria. She was the daughter of Bedros and Azniv Oskanian, and 1 of 7 siblings. She received her degree from American College for girls, now known as Aleppo College in Syria. She married Nubar Minassian at the age of 22 and was blessed with 3 sons, Hagop, Vatche, and Bedros Minassian. She had 4 grandchildren, Narine, Nareg, Garen, and Giana, and 1 great grandchild, Ava. She loved and adored her children and grandchildren dearly. Visitation Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 11:30am at St. Johns Armenian Church 22001 Northwestern Highway, Southfield. Funeral Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 12:00pm. Earthly resting place Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi. In lieu of flower memorial donations are to A.G.B.U. Syrian Emergency Relief Fund. Please make check payable to A.G.B.U. and in memo portion put in memory of Shake Minassian.
