Sona (Terzian) Derovakimian

Sona is survived by her beloved husband, Dn. Manouk; her daughters, Dr. Ani and her husband Alex Tarzi, and Taleen and her husband TC Newlin; and Sona’s four cherished grandchildren, Lena and Nora Tarzi, Thomas and Talia Newlin, sister Anjel Panikian and Family, sister-in-laws Lucy Gurganian and Family, Zabel and Russ Keller, and Kapriel Koseyan and Family.

Visitation Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church 19300 Ford Road, Dearborn.

Sona's funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m.

The 2:00 p.m. Burial Service will take place at Glen Eden Memorial Park Cemetery 35667 W. Eight Mile W, Livonia.  

In lieu of flowers memorial donations are to St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church or ARS Sybille Chapter.
