Virginia Aroxie Mekjian, Age 90

Beloved wife of Arthur Mekjian.

Loving mother of Carolyn (Terry) Waidley, Lisa (Sarkis) Mikhjian, Gregory (Cari) Mekjian and Gary (Heidi) Mekjian.

Cherished grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 11.  

Virginia will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was a proud member of St. John's Women's Guild since 1956, member of the Farmington Musical, Oakway Symphony Orchestra and the Tampa Bay Symphony.  Virginia was also a private violin teacher to over 50 students during her years of teaching.  

Visitation Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. Dan Gark at Church.

Visitation Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Earthly resting place is Woodlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations are to Evereg-Fenesse Educational Society or St. John Armenian Church.
